Description

The client is seeking a Trustee to provide strategic leadership in accordance with the Hospice's vision and values. The Trustee will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, as well as the pursuit of the client's objectives. Responsibilities include serving as a director of the company, working with others to develop a strategic plan, and acting as an ambassador for the client.

The Trustee will actively contribute to the Board to fulfill its responsibilities, safeguard the reputation and ethos of the client, and ensure financial stability and effective administration. They will also oversee the management of property and assets, maintain clinical quality and safety standards, and act in the best interests of all stakeholders. The Trustee will work collectively with other Trustees, disclose any conflicts of interest, and contribute to the annual review of Board performance.

Trustees are appointed for a three-year term and are expected to uphold the Charity Governance Code. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals with terminal illnesses, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
