Opportunity Details

The client is seeking a new Treasurer to join their Board of Management as the current Treasurer will be stepping down in June 2025. The Board meets six times a year, with four meetings held online and two in person including the AGM and December Board Meeting. The Treasurer will also participate in the Finance Sub Group, meeting six times a year to review income and expenditure in advance of Board meetings to ensure smooth operations. The Finance Sub Group includes a former Board member, Operations Manager, current Board Member, and Accounts Executive.
The Treasurer will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of the client, ensuring that income and expenditure are properly managed and reviewed. They will work closely with the Finance Sub Group to address any financial concerns and prepare for Board meetings. The client's accounts are audited externally every year, with consistently positive results and no concerns raised. The Treasurer will be a key member of the team responsible for maintaining the financial health and stability of the organization.
