The Executive Director position at the Thurston County Food Bank (TCFB) is responsible for leading the client in its mission to eliminate hunger within the community. With a budget of $13M for FY 2025, the ED will work closely with the Board of Directors to provide comprehensive leadership and direction to all food bank services, programs, and resources. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and innovative leader who can deepen the client's roots and relationships in the communities served.

Founded in 1972, TCFB operates from three strategic locations throughout Thurston County, providing essential resources to clients in need. The ED will serve as the principal advisor to the Board, establishing annual goals and objectives while ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. Building and strengthening relationships with community stakeholders, including local, state, and federal agencies, media outlets, and private businesses, will be a key aspect of the role to enhance visibility and foster community support.

The ED will lead a dedicated management team, overseeing budgeting and financial management, donor relations, fundraising efforts, and advocating for government and legislative support. By promoting the activities of TCFB and engaging in long-range strategic planning, the ED will ensure the client continues to make a positive impact in the community. This collaborative and proactive leadership approach will drive TCFB towards achieving its goal of eliminating hunger within the community.
