The client (UMAF) is seeking an Executive Director for Board Relations and Volunteer Engagement to provide guidance and support to various boards and committees within the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in board relations, volunteer management, and developing relationships within a complex organization. They should possess diplomatic skills, the ability to work well within diverse groups, and lead through influence. Experience in a foundation or with a fundraising-engaged board is preferred.
UMAF, an organization focused on fostering a culture of continuous learning and governance excellence, is anticipating growth in staffing and operations. The Executive Director will serve as an advisor to the UMAF Board, Alumni Association board, and other advisory boards, providing guidance on governance, operational strategies, and board engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting boards, managing volunteers, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
