The Director, Finance at the client is responsible for providing financial leadership to ensure ethical decision-making and best practices for managing municipal services. This role oversees financial planning, accounting, reporting, policies, property assessment, taxation, and risk management. The Director ensures accurate and timely financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including the Chief Financial Officer, Executive team, Mayor and Council, taxpayers, and government entities. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director leads a team of 14 full-time employees, including two managers.
The Director, Finance plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the client by implementing sound financial management policies and practices.
