Code for Science & Society (CS&S) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. As a US-based nonprofit dedicated to advancing open collaboration in public interest technology, CS&S provides fiscal sponsorship to open source, open data, open science, and open infrastructure projects. The CFO will play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of the organization, serving as a strategic thought partner to the Executive Director and Board, aligning financial strategies with sustainable growth strategies, and also serving as the Board Treasurer.

The CFO will work closely with the Executive Director and President, as well as the Finance and Audit Committees, to ensure financial stability and growth for CS&S. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management, strategic planning, and nonprofit leadership. Applications are being accepted until the position is filled, with priority given to those received by August 2nd, 2024. Zoom interviews with the Koya team will take place through August, followed by interviews with the CS&S hiring committee through September and October, with an anticipated offer by the end of October or early November.
