Description

The Accountant, General Ledger and Treasury Management position is a key role within the accounting team, reporting to the Accounting Manager, General Ledger. Responsibilities include preparing and recording journal entries, reconciling financial accounts, maintaining schedules, participating in the monthly close process, and supporting global treasury management tasks.

The Accountant will work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate allocation of amounts to the correct accounts, cost centers, and case codes. They will also assist with budget-to-actual report templates, opening new accounts, and streamlining processes to improve efficiency. In addition to general ledger management, the role will involve treasury management tasks such as updating bank account signatories, assisting with banking documents, and supporting the VP of Finance & Risk Management. The Accountant will also participate in institutional audits and tax filing processes.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in accounting. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
