Whitney Ambrose is a Principal at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Technology Practice, where he specializes in placing senior executives across Security and Information Technology functions. With over a decade of experience, he has built a career addressing complex cyber and technology talent challenges, bringing deep expertise in aligning leadership with evolving organizational needs. He plays a pivotal role in driving impactful solutions, fostering strategic talent management, and leading senior-level searches across Cybersecurity, Technology, Digital, and Data & Analytics domains. Prior to joining JM Search, Whitney spent more than ten years in executive search with Korn Ferry and DSG Global, where he specialized in technology and cybersecurity leadership recruitment and talent advisory. As a founding member of Korn Ferry’s Cybersecurity Center of Expertise, he was instrumental in scaling the practice into a multi-million-dollar global business. Additionally, he spent two years in the SaaS industry as a client and product consultant at LinkedIn, following early work advancing research, market intelligence, and analytics capabilities in executive search. Whitney received a degree in Business Administration from American University in Washington, DC. He currently lives in Denver, CO with his wife, son, and chocolate lab, where they enjoy hiking, skiing, and exploring Colorado’s outdoors.
