The client, a private credit fund manager based in New York, is seeking a Vice President, Chief of Staff to support their Co-Founder and Investment Committee Member. This role involves a mix of strategic work and tactical execution, including managing projects, collecting and delivering information, and supporting daily activities related to risk management and oversight of investments. The ideal candidate will have a financial services background and the ability to lead projects from ideation to delivery, while also being a skilled communicator and team player.
Responsibilities for the Chief of Staff position include managing special projects related to risk management, portfolio construction, and firmwide growth initiatives, as well as developing a deep understanding of the portfolio and each credit to provide leverage to the Investment Committee. The role also involves handling Investment Committee processes, managing administrative aspects of valuations, and collaborating with other teams to build necessary functionalities and reporting. The successful candidate must be willing to get involved in problem-solving from day one and have the presence to represent the firm externally on behalf of the Co-Founder and Investment Committee Member.
