The client in Lansdowne, VA is seeking a Vice President of Administration and Operations (VPAO) to oversee various administrative functions within the organization. The VPAO will be responsible for managing Human Resources services, including employee recruiting, hiring, benefits administration, and performance reviews. Additionally, the VPAO will handle financial services provided by an accounting vendor, IT processes, project management, and documentation for Board of Directors meetings. This role will also involve maintaining employee policies and procedures, conducting exit interviews, and responding to requests for employment verification.
In terms of Human Resources, the VPAO will work closely with the Operations & People Care Manager to manage employee healthcare benefits, annual renewals, and complex claims resolution. On the financial side, the VPAO will serve as the primary liaison with the accounting vendor, manage the annual budgeting process, and oversee monthly financial reporting. They will also be involved in the annual financial audit and Form 990 preparation, as well as managing the corporate credit card and expense reporting system.
