The Vice President of Human Resources at the client, a multi-site private equity-backed orthopedic practice, will report directly to the President/Chief Operating Officer. This strategic leader will be responsible for developing and overseeing HR strategies, policies, and programs across the organization to ensure alignment with the company's mission, operational goals, and growth objectives. The VP of HR will drive initiatives to foster a high-performing, engaged, and inclusive culture while providing leadership and support to local HR Directors, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
Key responsibilities for the VP of HR include developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organization's vision and goals, providing guidance on workforce planning and organizational development, and collaborating with leadership to drive initiatives supporting employee engagement and retention. The VP of HR will oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies, develop leadership development programs, and partner with HR Directors to assess training needs and create employee development programs. Additionally, the VP of HR will lead performance management processes, establish key HR metrics, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while promoting a collaborative, respectful, and inclusive workplace environment.
The ideal candidate for this role will have 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including in multi-site healthcare or MSO settings, with a proven track record of strategic HR leadership, talent management, and organizational development. Strong understanding of HR operations, compensation, benefits, performance management, compliance, and expertise in HR technology systems and data analytics tools is required. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential to engage stakeholders at all levels and align HR strategies with organizational goals to execute high-impact initiatives successfully.
