Salvador Palmada is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Financial Services, Boards and Private Equity practices. He also leads the firm’s Barcelona and Madrid offices in addition to the global Hospitality & Leisure Practice in Spain. He specializes in advising Spanish family-owned businesses in succession planning and other corporate governance matters. Leadership in financial services Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Salvador was a managing director of Bank of America Spain, in charge of investment banking and responsible for the bank's office in Barcelona, one of the most successful international operations of Bank of America. He started his career with Bank of America in the fixed income division. As an analyst and client manager, he was involved in the development of the highly profitable client derivative business of the bank in Spain, as well as in the creation of a strong corporate finance team. He was also a board member of Bank of America, S.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of America NTSA. Salvador holds a B.B.A. and an M.B.A. from ESADE Business School in Barcelona. He speaks Spanish, English and Catalan.
