Ryoko Komatsuzaki advises clients on leadership and executive search at both a national and an international scale. Komatsuzaki leads the Tokyo office for Russell Reynolds Associates. She regularly works with clients in the consumer and healthcare sectors, lending her vast experience to companies in the transformation stage. She is also a member of the firm’s Inclusion and Culture Practice. Ryoko has held several executive positions throughout her career, primarily helping international companies grow their business in Japan. She previously held a leadership role with a global search firm, where she managed its Consumer Retail Practice in Asia. Earlier in her career, Ryoko served as an advertising executive for both Dentsu and Saatchi & Saatchi Bates Yomiko. She was also managing director of Let’s Go Australia. Ichi-go ichi-e (Japanese: 一期一会) “What we are experiencing right now will never happen again. We must value each moment like a beautiful treasure. Everyone is my teacher. Every meeting has a meaning.” Ryoko earned her MBA in international business from the University of Southern California and her BA in linguistics from International Christian University.
