Romain Clio co-leads the firm’s European Financial Officers Practice. Based in Brussels, he specializes in senior finance assignments across all sectors. He is also a senior member of our Industrial and Natural Resources Sector, conducting cross-functional senior executive and non-executive director searches and assessments. Recent work includes a number of CFO, CEO and other functional leadership positions, as well as non-executive director roles for both public and private companies around the globe. Romain joined Russell Reynolds Associates from another leading global executive search firm, where he was a member of the Global Industrial Markets and Financial Officers Practice. Previously, Romain held finance roles in the pharmaceutical industry. He was also a teaching assistant in economics at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management. Romain began his career at EY, where he worked on a broad range of European projects as a manager in advisory services. Romain holds an MSc in management from Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management. He speaks fluent English and French.
