Robin’s career has come full circle. She started out in executive search, took on a more flexible career in order to spend more time with family and then returned to her first calling. Before joining Coleman Lew Canny Bowen, the Columbus, OH native worked for seven years as an executive recruiter at Waldthausen & Associates, a retained executive search company in Charlotte. There, she specialized in recruiting leaders for mid-sized, privately owned, European businesses – mostly in engineering and manufacturing – with a US presence. She began her career as an entrepreneur when she opened her own contingency IT recruiting agency. Robin ran RDB Recruiting for five years and grew her business in Charlotte and Raleigh, ultimately landing clients such as Bank of America and Siemens USA. In between, she worked as an investment residential realtor in the resort market of North Carolina’s Outer Banks. Robin earned her degree in communications with a concentration in marketing and corporate public relations from Queens University of Charlotte. She is close to her family in the Midwest – but visits only in the summer. She’s happy to visit her sister and brother-in-law in southern California anytime
