Opportunity Details
The Regional Director will be responsible for developing new business brokerage/sales activity by distributing various insurance products to agents, clients, and accounts nationwide. This will involve prospecting, managing existing producers, recruiting new producers, and developing a business plan to exceed sales quotas. The Director will work closely with internal resources to drive team results, maintain relationships with producers, and stay updated on industry trends and issues. They will also conduct seminars, make sales calls, and maintain accurate CRM records to drive production and achieve sales goals.
The ideal candidate will have successful sales experience in the life insurance industry, with a strong understanding of life products, complex case design, and carrier strengths. They should have proven experience in recruiting new producers, growing a book of business, and providing excellent customer service. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective time management, and the ability to work independently or in a team environment are essential. The candidate should also have proficiency in basic computer applications, the ability to analyze problems and develop solutions, and be willing to travel 25% or more. Life insurance license and relevant certifications are desirable.
