Opportunity Details
The Region Head of Sales will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring the activities of Territory Sales Managers in their region to drive sales growth. This includes providing ongoing training and development, monitoring sales activities, and implementing new selling techniques. The role also involves serving as the primary contact for key large national accounts and resolving any issues regarding relationships or channels as needed. The Region Head of Sales will work closely with various departments to develop and implement specialized sales strategies, establish sales goals for each Territory Sales Manager, and monitor business plans to ensure sales objectives are achieved.
Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, along with 5 years of insurance sales management experience. Strong sales skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to train and mentor others are essential. Experience with Long-Term Care and Ancillary insurance products is preferred, as well as proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce, and web-based presentations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to inspire and motivate others, and possess excellent problem-solving abilities. This position requires frequent travel, both day and overnight, approximately 50% of the time.
