The client is seeking a Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Director to provide strategic direction and oversight of a large change portfolio. This leadership position will involve working with a team of delivery and change professionals to ensure the portfolio is delivering value for money, identified benefits, and wider system efficiencies. The PMO Director will be responsible for aligning the portfolio with Government Efficiency Framework and Government Functional Standards, as well as providing assurance at key decision points throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be required to develop strategic alliances both internally and externally to share best practices and contribute to wider organizational governance. They will lead senior stakeholders in reviewing project relevance based on return on investment, risk, and contribution to strategic objectives. Additionally, the PMO Director will be responsible for embedding a culture of service excellence within the directorate, focusing on measurable impact and evidence-based decision making to support effective management and delivery of the change portfolio.
