Pam Zients is a Partner at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice. Pam is an industry veteran who thrives on partnering with companies dedicated to delivering innovative services and technologies that improve quality, cost and efficiency of the U.S. healthcare system. Pam specializes in the recruitment of executive leadership for investor-backed healthcare organizations. Pam has experience across functional leadership roles including CEO, COO, CTO/CIO, CFO and all things commercial. Prior to joining JM, Pam spent over five years with Chasm Partners, a boutique healthcare search firm. Pam ventured into executive search after 20+ years in business development, client success and consulting for healthcare startups and health systems. She has worked with seed stage companies, non-profits and publicly traded companies across her healthcare career. Pam’s healthcare career includes tenure with The Advisory Board Company, HCA and SCL Health. She started her career as a journalist covering fiscal, monetary and trade policy in Washington, DC. Pam earned a B.A. in Political Science from Emory University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University. She and her husband are empty nesters dividing their time between the Colorado mountains and the Arizona desert. Outside of work, Pam enjoys climbing mountains on foot and bike, reading, and tackling all sorts of puzzles.
