MaryBeth Cruz serves as Healthcare Services Clinical COE Leader for Korn Ferry Health's Professional Search business. MaryBeth has a deep understanding of the strategic, operational and cultural challenges faced by healthcare organizations today. She brings over two decades of experience working with Providence Health & Services, a large integrated delivery health system located in 5 states with 35 medical centers. During her years at Providence Health & Services, MaryBeth designed, built and led a very successful physician, provider and executive search division across the entire system. MaryBeth has also worked with one of the top 5 search firms in the US supporting Physician and Executive Search in healthcare, as Executive VP –Managing Principal. In this role, she focused her expertise on Physician, Provider and Executive search, along with Consulting. She launched her career as a registered polysomnographic technologist and working in startup environments. Ms. Cruz has experience overseeing a team of 50 FTE’s, which resulted in over 800 recruited clinicians and leaders in one year. Having personally recruited and hand selected hundreds of healthcare professionals, including physicians, physician executives, and administrative leaders, MaryBeth has a keen understanding of what it takes to build high-performing teams, medical groups, as well as leadership teams. MaryBeth is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC), and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Since 2012, she has served on the Executive Board of Trustees for Trillium Family Services, a not-for-profit organization, supporting the mental and behavioral health of children and teens in Oregon. Ms. Cruz earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and sociology from Western Oregon University and completed clinical training at the renowned Stanford University Sleep Center.
