Margarita Lueder is the Director of Research. She brings a wide array of past work experience, from working in commodity trading, to utilities, to private equity. Prior to Preng & Associates, she was a Trading Assistant at DXT Commodities where she worked with crude oil traders who traded WTI and Brent futures and options. She was responsible for daily profit and loss calculations, strategy keeping, crude oil price movement analytics, and trade reconciliation and compliance. Prior to DXT Commodities, she worked at Xcel Energy where she conducted competitor analysis on power plants, submitted financial recommendations for maintenance and capital projects, as well as provided insight into overhaul management and plant management through efficiency analytics. She began her career at Kimmeridge Energy as an intern where she built financial models of E&P companies. She is a graduate from Colorado School of Mines with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.
