Kate Gerard is a Vice President at JM Search and a member of the firm’s Financial Services and Technology Practice. She has deep experience recruiting senior leaders within the financial services industry, with a special concentration on placing leaders within marketing, digital, and analytics functions. Prior to JM Search, Kate led executive search engagements at JPMorgan Chase and BNY Mellon. She began her executive search career at Spencer Stuart, where she was a member of the firm’s Financial Services and Marketing Officer practice. Her clients included retail and commercial banks, payments, and consumer finance companies. Kate began her career as a practicing attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York where she represented Fortune 500 companies, as well as their officers and directors in complex litigation and government investigations. Kate earned her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Michigan. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband and two young sons. She enjoys Michigan football, running, and collecting sneakers in her spare time.
