Jan conducts senior executive search, C-suite succession planning, and leadership development assignments for clients across the technology and industrial sectors with a special focus on advanced technologies, AI, digital infrastructure, connectivity, and industrial services. Jan is a member of Russell Reynolds Associates’ Board & CEO Partners, as well as its Technology Practice. He partners with Middle East regional as well as international clients, including private equity firms and SWFs, to identify, assess, and develop top leadership individuals and teams to mitigate succession risks, improve leadership, and support value creation. Jan joined Russell Reynolds in 2011 from Nokia Networks in Dubai. As SVP Middle East and Africa, he held full P&L leadership responsibility for all mobile and fixed communication infrastructure business in 68 countries. He was a member of the company’s Supervisory Board in Germany and Chairman of Joint Ventures in South Africa and Kuwait. Earlier, he held various leadership roles within different business units of Siemens Communications in the Middle East and Europe, as well as Siemens Corporation in New York, and Siemens AG’s Corporate HQ in Munich. Jan received his PhD from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg following studies in Germany and South Africa. He is Hogan certified.
