Ine Maessen leads Spencer Stuart’s Human Resources Practice in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and is also a member of the Industrial Practice. Based in Brussels, she advises clients across industry and automotive/mobility on leadership matters and senior executive appointments. Ine is passionate about leadership and the vital role she believes it plays in achieving long-term, sustainable organizational excellence and business impact. With her recent experience at WABCO and Punch Powertrain, Ine brings first-hand leadership experience to her clients. Experienced leadership adviser Ine brings management consulting, executive search and direct industry experience to her client work. Before joining Spencer Stuart, she led the agile transformation program for the largest global business unit of Punch Powertrain, a supplier of fuel-efficient powertrains. Before that, she led the global in-house executive search function at WABCO Automotive, and she served as HR Leader for WABCO’s Autonomous Driving Division. Ine’s earlier career spanned strategy consulting at Accenture and executive search and leadership advisory with global and boutique firms. Ine is a graduate of Hasselt University, where she earned a master's degree in engineering. She also earned an M.B.A. degree from Solvay Business School. She speaks Dutch, French and English, as well as conversational German.
