He operates across a variety of sectors, with a heavy emphasis in healthcare, life science, retail, travel and hospitality, and industrial. He takes particular interest in the ongoing advancement of technology solutions in the healthcare industry and how organization structure supports and impacts a culture of innovation. Ian operates from an ethos that working across healthcare and technology offers the greatest opportunity to extend accessibility and equity to consumers across the world. Supporting advancement of technology and leadership in the healthcare world Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Ian was a senior manager in the advisory practice at a global consulting firm. While there he collaborated with large organizations in the structuring, development, deployment and execution of their program and portfolio management offices for large, complex transformations. Ian has worked extensively with large enterprises on their change management efforts during major system and process implementations. This includes a heavy focus on training, communications and stakeholder management efforts. Ian spent over a decade providing consulting services to clients in the healthcare, oil and gas, utility and pharmaceutical industries. He earned a B.S. in business management-corporate finance from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles.
