The client, a well-known 4* resort in Costa Rica, is seeking a Hotel General Manager to oversee all operations and functions of the hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, implementing quality procedures, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They will also be tasked with developing strategies to increase hotel profitability and occupancy rates, as well as managing the hotel's budget and finances.
The successful applicant will have a university degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, Business, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a hotel or resort setting. They must have expertise in hotel operations, sales, marketing, and finance, as well as strong communication and leadership skills. Fluency in Spanish and English is required, along with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments. Previous experience in resorts in Spain is highly desirable.
