Opportunity Details

The client is seeking a Head of Human Resources for an international listed business in the veterinary services industry. This newly created role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne with travel around Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting around 600 employees and managing a HRBP, TA Manager, and Payroll team.

The role will involve providing guidance on various HR functions such as ER, OD, and employee experience. Building strong relationships with stakeholders will be essential for developing and influencing people-related initiatives aligned with short and long term priorities. The Head of HR will work closely with the Managing Director and Regional Directors to design and execute the people strategy, coach and develop the leadership team, lead HR projects, drive HR data and analytics, and oversee Talent Management initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience at a Senior HR Business Partner or Head of HR level, with proven leadership capability and strong influencing skills. They should have a commercial mindset, experience in analyzing data and metrics, and a background in leading transformational change and post-acquisition integration. In-depth payroll knowledge will be beneficial for this role. This is a permanent position with a salary range of $190,000 - $200,000 + Super, starting as soon as possible.
