Based in Milan, Gyorgy Konda leads Spencer Stuart’s global Fashion & Luxury Practice. He is also a member of the firm’s Consumer, Digital and Private Equity practices. Gyorgy has an extensive background helping clients worldwide select high-caliber CEOs, board members and executives. He also advises clients on C-suite succession, executive assessment, organization design, governance, top team effectiveness and culture change. As a long-time strategy consultant, Gyorgy has worked with over 100 fashion and luxury clients around strategy, performance improvement, digitalization, transformation, acquisitions, post-merger-integration and IPOs. Advisory in fashion and luxury Gyorgy has over 25 years of executive search and strategy consulting experience focusing on luxury, fashion and specialty retail. Before joining Spencer Stuart, Gyorgy’s career developed in strategy consulting, most notably as a partner in Bain & Company, where he served clients in the fashion and luxury space globally for almost 15 years. Gyorgy was also founder and general manager of two startups in the digital luxury space. Gyorgy received his M.B.A. from St. John’s University in Rome and New York. He earned a B.A. in business administration and a B.A. in international affairs from John Cabot University in Rome. He has dual Italian and Hungarian citizenship, and speaks Italian, Hungarian, English and French.
