The client is seeking an Executive Director to lead the United Way of Indiana County (UWIC) in improving the quality of life for residents. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Leadership, Business Administration, or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in nonprofit management. Key responsibilities include board development, fundraising, team leadership, and oversight of general operations. The Executive Director must possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to ethical standards and community needs.
The Executive Director will work closely with the UWIC Board of Directors to source and onboard new members, drive fundraising initiatives, and oversee community impact projects. Building relationships with donors, sponsors, and community leaders is essential, as is managing grant proposals and funding allocations. The successful candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders and local agencies to address community needs and ensure strategic alignment with organizational goals.
In addition to leading board development and fundraising efforts, the Executive Director will provide direction on marketing and communications strategies. This includes event planning, website management, and social media outreach. The client is looking for a forward-thinking, goal-oriented leader who can prioritize work aligned with short and long-term organizational strategies.
