The Ranching Heritage Association is seeking a Director of Marketing and Business Development for the National Ranching Heritage Center at Texas Tech University. This individual will report to the Executive Director and lead a team in developing innovative strategies to enhance visibility, strengthen partnerships, and increase revenue streams. The Director will also support the Red Steagall Institute for Traditional Western Arts in preserving and celebrating ranching history and culture. This position offers the opportunity to have a lasting impact on expanding the reach of a historic institution.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a strategic leader responsible for elevating the NRHC's brand, expanding its audience reach, and developing sustainable revenue streams. They should have experience in marketing and business development, a passion for heritage preservation, and the ability to lead teams effectively. Key responsibilities include developing and executing marketing strategies, leading business development efforts, supervising a team, and representing the NRHC at events to strengthen relationships with stakeholders and partners.
Qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, along with at least five years of management experience in marketing and communications. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing marketing strategies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Experience in public speaking, media relations, and community engagement is preferred for this role.
