The Director of Group Sales position at the client in Central Florida is seeking a candidate with strong leadership and organizational skills to drive revenue expectations. Reporting to the Executive Director of Sales, the ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and directing sales goals through motivation and clear communication. This role requires strong sales skills, the ability to strategize, multitask, show initiative, and maintain a high level of business professionalism. The Director of Group Sales will be responsible for overseeing various properties, including hotels, luxury retail, restaurants, exposition centers, and more, totaling over 1,000,000 square feet of flexible indoor space for events.
Qualifications for the Director of Group Sales position include a minimum of 10 years of experience in hospitality/hotel sales, a valid book of business, proven sales success, and experience selling large event spaces. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and polished presentation skills. Experience with Delphi and large events, trade shows, and city-wide projects is preferred. This role may require travel for sales calls and destination event shows as needed.
