Description

The Director of Communications and Enrollment at the client will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive integrated communications plan to market a positive brand image and message to both external and internal audiences. This role will report directly to the CEO/Superintendent and will focus heavily on brand management and marketing activities. The Director will work closely with principals to collaborate on enrollment and communications initiatives at the school-level, aiming to drive a strategic vision for scholar recruitment.

In terms of communications, the Director will oversee the development and implementation of an integrated strategic communications plan to advance the client's brand identity and increase awareness of its programs. This includes managing internal communications, providing brand guidance, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for creating a marketing strategy to promote the client as a top public school option for families, managing social media presence, and overseeing the external website.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, along with 7 to 10 years of experience in Communications. Prior experience in managing people or enterprise processes is required, as well as high proficiency in modern technologies. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and demonstrate innovation, problem-solving, and good judgment. Experience in a similar role within a traditional district or charter school is preferred.
