Opportunity Details

The client is seeking a Director of the College and Post-Secondary Department to ensure that all students are well-prepared for life after high school. This role involves collaborating with school leadership to develop a comprehensive vision for college counseling and post-secondary programs. The Director will manage a team to provide individualized support for current students and alumni, as well as build partnerships with colleges, universities, and employers to create pathways for student success.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing college and career readiness programs for grades 9-12, organizing college visits and career fairs, and engaging families through information sessions. The Director will provide counseling on post-secondary pathways, guide students and families through applications and financial aid, and track student outcomes while providing alumni support. Additionally, the Director will establish partnerships with colleges, trade schools, and industry partners, as well as educate students on financial aid options and expand access to scholarships.
The Director will be responsible for setting and executing a vision aligned with the client's mission, managing staff and budget, overseeing the Alumni Persistence Fund, and making data-driven program improvements. This leadership role is crucial in ensuring that all students are equipped to succeed in their post-secondary endeavors, whether that be attending college, entering the workforce, or pursuing other opportunities.
