Danny Ryan leverages a deep academic and clinical background to recruit dynamic leaders for healthcare organizations. Based in London, Danny works with clients at the intersection of healthcare, education and technology, and is a trusted advisor to senior management as they navigate a rapidly changing industry landscape. Danny joined Russell Reynolds Associates after completing a National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellowship and working as a consultant at Kaleidoscope Health & Care. In this role, he designed learning networks and developed purpose-based strategy for clients, including NHS Trusts, charities and pharmaceutical companies. Danny was previously a Trauma and Orthopedic surgeon in the National Health Service, and has worked in major trauma centers, clinics and primary care settings. He co-founded one of the UK’s most popular revision websites for surgical examinations and has been a frequent contributor to scientific journals and textbooks, as well as speaking regularly at international conferences. If being a surgeon taught me anything, it is to always be prepared and with hard work, collaboration and integrity you can overcome any challenge.
