Opportunity Details

The client, a PE-backed manufacturing business, is seeking a Controller to oversee financial management and drive long-term growth strategy. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and performance metrics, ensuring accurate results and compliance with GAAP standards. The role involves interacting with the executive team, leading the accounting/finance department, and preparing the company for sale.

Key responsibilities include preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes, supporting budgeting and variance analysis, and supervising accounts receivable processes. The Controller will collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights, support special projects like ERP implementation, and work closely with the CFO to build a finance department focused on operational support and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or finance, 3-6 years of experience in a similar role, strong accounting expertise, and familiarity with GAAP.
