Opportunity Details

The client is seeking a Clinical Development Vice President to lead early-stage clinical trials in the USA for neurodegeneration disease. This position offers high visibility and the opportunity to shape a promising therapeutic area focused on addressing the root cause of age-related degenerative diseases. The successful candidate will provide strategic and scientific oversight for the planning and execution of clinical trials, design development plans, and interact with regulatory authorities.
The ideal candidate will have an MD or MD/PhD with board certification in neurology, psychiatry, or a related discipline, along with 10+ years of industry experience in clinical development, specifically in neurodegenerative diseases. They should have a proven track record in early-stage drug development, including IND submissions and clinical trials in the U.S. Strong knowledge of neurodegeneration pathophysiology, clinical endpoints, biomarkers, and patient populations is required, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Experience in a fast-paced biotech or small company environment is highly desirable.
