Christiane Bisanzio is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Zurich office and is a member of the global Financial Services Practice, as well as the Human Resources Practice. With 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Christiane focuses on the insurance and reinsurance sectors to place such senior-level leaders as CEOs, CHROs, and members of the C-suite for multinational clients. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Christiane was chief diversity & inclusion officer and head of HR for EMEA at AXA Group. Previously, she was chief human resources officer at a Swiss reinsurance organization, and at GE Capital. In 2015, 2016, and 2017, Christiane was recognized as a Global Top 50 Diversity Executive by The Economist. The Global Diversity List recognizes achievements of individuals who have made the practice of diversity and inclusion their career. Christiane began her career as an associate in the legal search business. She is fluent in English, German and Italian. Education: Christiane is a German qualified lawyer with the High Court of Hamburg.
