Opportunity Details

The client, a prestigious liberal arts institution, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee administrative services and operational functions. Reporting directly to the president, the COO will work closely with senior leadership to ensure resources are deployed effectively to support strategic priorities and navigate changes in higher education. Responsibilities include managing facilities, design and construction, business services, information technology, and human resources, as well as providing strategic financial planning and analysis.
The COO will be a key partner in decision-making processes, collaborating with the president, Senior Staff, and the Board of Trustees to align operations with institutional priorities. As the inaugural leader of a newly unified portfolio, the COO will focus on breaking down silos, developing synergies, and promoting effectiveness and efficiency across all areas. They will lead a diverse team, supporting staff development and fostering a culture of service while engaging with various constituents within the college community.
