The client, a seed-stage behavioral health startup, is seeking a Chief of Staff to work closely with the CEO in driving strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations. This role involves taking ownership of projects across the company, from shaping long-term strategy to managing urgent operational needs. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to get things done. Responsibilities include coordinating strategic initiatives, managing special projects, supporting external partnerships, conducting research, overseeing internal communications, analyzing business metrics, and identifying operational bottlenecks.
Recent initiatives for the Chief of Staff role have included designing e-prescriptions, rebuilding the website landing page, defining conference strategy, increasing digital ad campaign sophistication, and interviewing customers for product feedback. The Chief of Staff will have the opportunity to learn about every aspect of the business and may be eligible for C-Suite roles within the company after one year. Qualifications include 2-4 years of experience in management consulting or equivalent operational roles at a high-growth startup, exceptional analytical skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational abilities, and a strong sense of ownership. Experience or interest in the healthcare industry, particularly in provider workflows and behavioral health, is preferred.
