Opportunity Details

The client, a Southeast-based US division of an international manufacturer and distributor in the natural stone industry, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operations Officer (CFO/COO) to report to the US CEO and Group CFO at the parent company. The CFO/COO will oversee finance, accounting, logistics, purchasing, human resources, and information technology, supporting the US CEO operationally. Responsibilities include advising on strategic initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, managing budgets, analyzing financial results, and developing operational metrics to drive growth and profitability.
The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing or distribution, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. They should possess a strong understanding of GAAP, financial accounting, internal controls, and budgeting processes. The CFO/COO must have experience in developing financial models, analyzing trends, and reporting on key performance indicators to monitor profitability, cash flow, and financial stability. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building effective relationships across the organization and working collaboratively with leadership, peers, and subordinates.
The CFO/COO will play a crucial role in creating and driving a strategic vision for the company, promoting a culture of achievement and continuous improvement, and developing employees to support personal and company objectives. They will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 15 direct reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial data, and enhancing controls to mitigate financial risk. The client is looking for a dynamic leader who can optimize internal operations, drive efficiencies, and support the company's long-term goals and initiatives.
