Carl Fitch, principal and head of WittKieffer?s Emerging Physician Leadership Practice, possesses nearly 30 years of knowledge and personal experience in healthcare talent acquisition, business development and operations having held leadership positions in executive search, physician search, hospital, health plan, and medical group management. With an intensive focus on next generation physician executives, he identifies chairs, chiefs, medical directors, and other physician leaders who are charting optimal clinical pathways while maintaining a share of their respective clinical practices. Based in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, Carl applies this expertise when assisting hospitals, health systems, integrated delivery systems, academic medical centers, physician group practices, and other health-related organizations. Immediately prior to joining WittKieffer, Carl was the managing partner for a national healthcare recruiting firm providing staffing solutions for executives, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. Additionally, he served as the U.S. service delivery leader for a global executive search firm and as regional director for a national physician and healthcare executive search and consulting firm and was the vice president of corporate development and shareholder for another nationally recognized physician search and consulting firm. Carl got his start in recruitment with Kaiser Permanente as director of provider services where he chaired the Recruitment and Retention Committee.
