Opportunity Details

The Vice President of Human Resources will report to the President and CEO and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the client's HR department. This executive leadership position will ensure compliance with various regulations and labor laws, as well as oversee employee engagement, recruitment, benefits, and professional development.
The Vice President of Human Resources will provide leadership in human resources planning and policy development, as well as promote a diverse and inclusive organizational climate. They will advise senior leadership on legal matters and recommend new personnel policies and regulations. Responsibilities include overseeing recruitment, hiring, promotion, discipline, and salary advancement, as well as ensuring timely employee evaluations and professional development opportunities. The VP of HR will also supervise the maintenance of personnel records, act as the chief labor negotiator, and oversee risk management and employee benefits.
Additionally, the Vice President of Human Resources will be responsible for investigating and responding to complaints of discrimination and harassment, as well as interfacing with relevant agencies. They will consult with legal counsel as needed to ensure compliance with regulations. This role plays a crucial part in shaping the culture and policies of the client, ensuring that all HR operations support the college's mission, values, and strategic vision.
