Bruce is a Managing Director in the Asset Management practice based in Hong Kong. Previously, he was Managing Director at Jefferies Financial Group where he was part of the leadership group that built out the Jefferies franchise in Asia. He led the Asian Equities sales divisions in Europe before moving to Hong Kong in 2013 where he was Head of Asia Sales. He and his team established Jefferies as the most successful new entrant into the equity market working with major asset management firms , Sovereign Wealth Funds and hedge funds. Most recently he established M Science, a Jefferies portfolio company, and alternative data research provider in Hong Kong. He began his career at Baring Securities ( ING Barings) and was an Executive Director at Credit Suisse and Managing Director at Nomura where he had responsibility for Asia ex Japan equity sales in Europe. He graduated from Exeter University with a BA Hons. in Economics and Politics.
