The client, a registered charity in Dublin, Ireland, focused on providing accessible psychotherapy services, is seeking a Non-Executive Director with finance qualifications and experience to join their Board. The role involves providing strategic oversight of the charity's financial health, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting financial sustainability. Key responsibilities include reviewing financial reports, advising on risk management, upholding the charity's mission and values, and offering expertise to the executive team while advocating for the charity's mission.
The Non-Executive Director will be a member of the Board and the Audit, Risk, and Finance Subcommittee, participating in quarterly meetings to review financial statements, management accounts, and the Risk Register. The role also involves attending quarterly Board meetings, the Annual General Meeting, and any exceptional meetings that may arise. The ideal candidate will be able to travel to Stillorgan, Dublin, for the annual in-person meeting, with the rest of the meetings conducted via conference call or online.
