Bernhard Kickenweiz is a member of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice. He specializes in recruiting senior-level executives for technology and telecommunication services clients, ranging from startups to leading multinational corporations. He is also a member of the firm’s Business & Professional Services Practice. Global industry, consulting and executive search experience Bernhard worked with clients across the technology industry, including mobile and wireline, software, SaaS, cyber security, infrastructure, and business and professional services. He has conducted a wide range of executive searches with a focus on CEO, General Manager, Board Director, and C-level assignments across product, sales, marketing, and technology leadership. Bernhard joined Spencer Stuart from A.T. Kearney, where he was a principal and a leader in the firm’s North American communications and high-tech practice. He advised some of the world’s leading mobile and fixed-line operators as well as technology companies on issues such as growth strategy, sales, marketing, restructuring and organizational design. He also worked for the firm in Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to joining A.T. Kearney, Bernhard was a management consultant with Gemini Consulting and held a variety of financial leadership positions with IBM in Europe. Bernhard holds an M.B.A. with honors from the University of Graz and studied at the Université Paris IX Dauphine and the University of Exeter. He is fluent in German, English, and French and speaks conversational Spanish.
