The client, a firm specializing in executive searches for higher education institutions, is seeking an Associate Vice President of Development for Ohio University. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive development and philanthropy program that meets the university's goals and contributes to overall growth in private philanthropy. Reporting to the Vice President of University Advancement, the AVP will work closely with central fundraising staff, schools, deans, and other university units to articulate and implement plans related to fund development. The AVP will also establish performance standards for gift officers, develop a culture of goal achievement, and lead the process for setting annual goals for unit-based fundraisers.
