The client in Allentown, Pennsylvania is seeking an Associate Director of Operations to oversee manufacturing operations for one or more Business Units/Plants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing teams, setting strategic goals, and ensuring high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective output. This role involves overseeing CAPEX budget, driving process improvements, and optimizing resource utilization to meet production goals. The Associate Director will also act as a backup for Site VP/GM and Director of Manufacturing, identifying and resolving production inefficiencies, and preparing reports on efficiency, scrap, budget, and expenditures.
The successful candidate for this role must have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred, along with 10-12 years of relevant experience. Industry certification is also preferred. The Associate Director must have advanced industry knowledge and the ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts to determine the best course of action. This role requires consistent attendance, a valid driver's license, passport, and the ability to work non-standard hours.
