The client's Marieb College of Health and Human Services is seeking an assistant professor to join their Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. This full-time, on-campus position will involve teaching, service, scholarly activities, and creative works. The assistant professor will hold the rank of assistant professor and will be responsible for employing effective teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles in various formats including lecture, online, and hybrid.
Candidates for this position must have teaching experience at the university level and a record of scholarship appropriate for appointment at the assistant professor rank. The assistant professor will report to the chair or other higher-level administrators and may represent The client, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or statewide committees. This role will involve engaging in scholarly activities and creative works, as well as providing service to the university community.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counseling and clinical mental health, with a commitment to excellence in teaching and a willingness to contribute to the growth of the CMHC program. The assistant professor will be expected to use evidence-based and reflective practices in their teaching, and to actively participate in university and statewide committees as needed.
