Ash Kolady is a Partner at JM Search and a member of the firm’s Industrial Practice. He partners with public and private boards to recruit CEOs, COOs, and CFOs for industrial companies in the machinery, automotive, building products and industrial services market segments. Prior to joining JM Search, Ash covered the industrial segment for Egon Zehnder and True Search. As a former COO of a diversified industrial company, Ash brings real-world P&L leadership and hands-on operational experience to help assess and recruit talent. He started his career as an engineer at General Motors and later led multiple functional roles at Eaton Corporation. He led Corporate Development for AZZ incorporated, leading the rollup of hot-dip galvanizing, and later led a portfolio of products and services businesses as the COO. Ash earned a degree in engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Michigan State University.
