With more than 25 years of professional experience, Annette is a trusted advisor to industry leaders across insurance, reinsurance, asset management, and banking. Based in Hamburg, Germany, Annette also works with global clients in the business and professional services sector. She advises boards, CEOs, and senior-level executives on building excellent leadership teams, including cross-industry hiring. She is an advocate for inclusive leadership across all dimensions. Annette has spent more than a decade in executive search. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, she managed the financial, strategic, and legal functions of a Bancassurance group. Before that, she was Chief Risk Officer in the same group. Annette also spent a decade with McKinsey & Co. and Accenture, providing strategic, operational, and risk expertise to leading financial services clients across Europe. Annette has a Master's degree in Insurance and Business Mathematics from the University of Hamburg. She also holds a Master's degree in Business Research and a Doctoral degree from Munich's Ludwig Maximilians University. Annette is fluent in English, French, and German. She is also a certified member of the German Actuarial Association.
